As members of trade associations, we work continuously to monitor, evaluate and anticipate changes in our business environment in the form of political decisions, public policy directions and amended regulations in the areas that are of particular importance for our business and operations.
The aim is to gain early knowledge of and contribute actively to the development of areas that are significant to our operations. Trade associations are typically non-profit and maintain the autonomy of their corporate members, and address industry concerns in legislative processes and policy shaping. They often participate in standard-setting and self-regulatory processes. Trade associations can also help communicate the sector’s actions to consumers, other non-profit actors and governments.
In the PDF-file there is a list of the major organizations and trade associations of which Essity is a member of or a partner to (including membership fees). Please note that this list is not all-encompassing.
