IT Business Analyst Logistics / Demand Planning

About the Role
As an IT Business Analyst in Logistics / Demand Planning, you will help drive progress in the optimization and efficiency of the supply chain mainly in distribution planning processes.

What You Will Do
- Participate in regional projects related to SAP Logistics & Demand planning
- Drive breakdown of business requirements, by conducting workshops or key meetings to capture business requirements and perform as-is analysis, to develop comprehensive requirement specifications that will determine the estimate of cost, time and resources based on standard templates
- Interact with IT global team
- Propose and drive implementation of SAP system improvements
- Ensure close collaboration and communication with all stakeholders and global IT team
- Provide expertise and guidance in Supply Chain mainly in Distribution to others and actively share best practices
- Collaborate with and coordinate external resources
- Participate in transitioning the requirements and use cases to the designers to ensure a clear and complete understanding of the solution specification
- Continuously review and edit requirements, specifications and recommendations related to a proposed solution
- Work with the project manager, architects and developers to define metrics and performance goals for the solution.
- Arrange training and conduct end user training
- Process and take ownership of service tickets from customers mainly from business logistics.
Who You Are
- You hold a university degree in computer science, information systems, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in IT Supply Chain Execution primary in Logistics.
- Solid understanding and experience of SAP solutions in supply chain execution/planning, logistics and demand planning management systems.
- Experience in distribution, shipment cost, freights, delivery management, shipments, demand planning (APO) & integration with third party systems.
- Knowledge in Supply Network and Sales would be a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills combined with very good written and verbal communication skills in Spanish, English
- Additional language(s) skills would be beneficial.
- Good knowledge in Waterfall, Agile or Hybrid project implementation methodology would be a plus.
- Ability to travel approx. 30%
- Knowledge in S4/IBP would be a plus
