The forklift operator must demonstrate knowledge of procedures, proper use of equipment, and compliance with regulations.

Operate forklifts for loading, unloading, and transporting materials. The operator must have a valid license and certification in safe forklift operation, as required by labor and safety regulations.

About the Role

Ensure the efficient, safe, and orderly flow of goods within the warehouse, ensuring the correct receipt, storage, preparation, and dispatch of products, contributing to productivity, operational excellence, and compliance with the safety, quality, and environmental standards established by the company.

What You Will Do

  • Unload transport vehicles and check that what has been received matches the delivery notes, packing list, purchase orders, or invoices. Any discrepancies must be recorded.
  • Check the quality and condition of the products (identify damages, expiration dates, etc.).
  • Label the received pallets and move them to the appropriate area.
  • Record income in the system (SAP, WMS, or other).
  • Place products in assigned positions (racks, pallets, picking areas).
  • Respect FEFO rotation systems and/or batch classification.
  • Operate equipment (stackers, forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) as long as the operator has the approved certification for the safe use of machinery.
  • Pick products according to the sales/shipping order, following FEFO.
  • Assemble pallets or boxes, ensuring accuracy in quantities and references.
  • Label and pack correctly for shipping.
  • Ensure that the products are arranged uniformly, labeled, and in optimal condition.
  • Comply with palletizing standards (height, stability, safety).
  • Check that the module meets the customer's specifications before shipping.
  • Load trucks according to the schedule and collection list.
  • Check that outgoing documents are correct (delivery notes, invoices).
  • Secure security seals and record the number.
  • Perform cycle counts or general inventories.
  • Report discrepancies between physical and system (logical).
  • Register and report updates.
  • Receive products returned by transportation providers.
  • Check status (apply decision tree).
  • Properly register the (IMD) Damaged Merchandise Report.
  • Verify admission/return documents and record routing and responsibility.
  • Apply the organization's policies to ensure the safety of people and property, and comply with quality, environmental, and current regulations.

Who You Are

High school diploma and at least one year of experience operating a forklift/pallet stacker (with certification)
